Early life and family
Sridevi was brought into the world in Sivakasi, Madras State, India on 13 August 1963 to Kapoor Ayyapan Yanger and Rajeshwari Yanger. Her dad was a legal counselor from Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu. Her mom was from Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. She has a sister and two stepbrothers.
